Global Thinking

The way in which to dominate the world is by manipulating the global thinking machine (i.e. the minds of the majority of people). How can there be a revolution when the revolutionists are programmed not to do so? With the ascending progress and development of the media, there is a growing depedency on communication to the masses through the media (whichever form that might be). At the same time, chosen (closed) messages are given to open-minded people who have to -in a way- conform to offered ideologies which are promoted through the "privately owned" institutions of the media. Through one-way communication only certain viewpoints are given forward, whereas the receivers of such information are unable to reply with contradicting (or contrasting) viewpoints or comments or criticisms of such promoted viewpoints. He who controls the global media controls the world's mode of thinking.

Finger-snapping indeed, this gives me a whole new revelation on the authenticity of music as we know it today. The soundtrack is composed through digital media and concerts are only live because the artist is on stage and the manufacturing of cd's and dvd's is packaged in computer programmes, so I agree, we are only experiencing a copy of a copy and we call it music. What ever happened to soundscaping with our pure voices, I'm not an Acapella fan but one must say their music is good because that's exactly what it is- music!

In reference to your line "He who controls the global media controls the world's mode of thinking."

...One man who may be on that list of 'world thinking controllers' is media tycoon, Rupert Murdoch. He owns 175 newspapers worldwide! Its insane!!

He who controls...Yes again I agree with you. The mind is the battlefield and the control-panel of every human being. One question that I always ask...those who do control the media and thus the minds of their audience be it an active or passive audience, who controls their ideologies and credo's? I guess its a cycle...

hI. You are correct in saying that the best way of dominating the world is by manipulating the global thinking machine. It is no suprise that people continuously act like sheep. we blaa just like the rest, we have ideas of acting as individuals but in reality we are to afraid to be anything else but a community of sheep.
baa baa baa.

yes, we do have ideas of acting as individuals, but even these actions are in reaction to the ideologies influencing us. I always wondered why the "rebel" kids or the "emo" kids all looked the same. They are rejecting a social norm yet they are conforming to another one. And all of these decisions of conforming are impacted in one way or another by the mass media, or I guess, the man who controls the mass media.
